Boston WAGs: Jacoby Ellsbury’s Girlfriend & Can He Spark the Sox?

Jacoby Ellsbury’s long term girlfriend is Kelsey Hawkins, and as his mom put it in a hard-hitting Globe piece, “In high school he had one girlfriend.” Glad we got that cleared up.
More importantly, can he spark the Sox when he finally returns to the lineup this summer? Yes, and they could use him. He was lightning last season, finding his fluid power stroke and continuing to get on base, while playing Gold Glove CF. Crawford’s out. Pedroia’s banged up. Sweeney and Ross have been injured. While the Sox bats have been pretty consistent, getting Jacoby back in the order will be enormous for a second-half playoff push.
Jacoby was slammed by criticism two seasons ago when he rehabbed away from the team and took his time coming back to the Sox. But last year’s production proves that when he’s in the lineup, he’s a formidable and vital bat for the Sox.
