D.A. on the NFL Films’ Story of Dolphins WR Davone Bess

Been an NFL Films junkie since I was eight.

One Saturday afternoon, a young Damon was dazzled by “Alcoa Presents: The NFL’s Greatest Endings” on television. It was another NFL Films masterpiece, highlighting “The Immaculate Reception,” “The Sea of Hands,” and “The Hail Mary.”

I taped it on my family’s old twin-deck VCR and watched that video at least 30-40 times.

It began my lifelong fascination with NFL Films; the mythology of professional football.

When NFL Films asked me to opine for their “Top 10″ series which runs on the NFL Network and “NFL Films Presents” for ESPN2, I might as well have died and gone to John Facenda’s heaven.
