I ripped King Carl, so Carl decided to call the show. Hey, makes for great radio. Carl was one classy individual and could always admit when he was wrong as evidenced by this clip. Shockingly, the Chiefs won the division just two seasons after Carl was fired. The station actually forced me to write an apology to him, because they were scared this exchange would hurt their ability to land the team’s radio rights (and Carl demanded it). It pains me to see him out of work.
